Our Signature Events

Each season, the DGH Auxiliary offers a chili lunch for patients and staff at the hospital. These lunches serve to provide a warm meal that also helps raise funds for the hospital.

There are always several options for chili, including Halal and Vegetarian options!

In December, we hold an annual food bank drive that provides canned and non-perishable goods to a local food bank in Dartmouth. 

​

We also hold a winter coat & jacket drive for the same organization.

In the early Fall, we host an annual BBQ in the Healing Garden of the hospital. For this event, the Dartmouth Kiwanis Club brings their BBQ and does all the grilling for us!

With lunch, patrons also receive a drink, and cookies. Yum!

The Holly Tree Bazaar has been a traditional signature event that has been long-standing at the DGH. It is a fan-favourite amongst patients/ visitors, and staff.

 

During this event, you can find crafts, toys, jewellery, bake sale, silent auction, and the most recent addition - a chili lunch!
