IMPACT
I have often asked myself, what are things that are important
but we cannot always see; justice, truth, humility, service,
compassion and love. We can’t see them, but they are the
guiding lights of a life. Volunteering with the Dartmouth
General Hospital Auxiliary calls on most of these life
principles. Whether you are supporting an event, assisting
behind the scenes, fundraising or giving your time in the Gift
Shop, your commitment strengthens our mission and supports
those we serve in ways that truly matter.

Our Work

Volunteering is not merely a task, but a way of life that turns our core values into tangible positive actions. Every hour volunteered helps create a ripple effect that reminds people they are not alone. You may not always see the impact of your work, but every shift, every fundraiser and every act of kindness contributes to a brighter day for patients and their loved ones. Volunteering is more than counting calories within your soul. It is in part, hands that keeps reaching out to help even when your own lives hurt. In closing, we present this cheque today to cover the cost of a vein finder for ICU and a Masimo upgrade for 3 East.
As we present this cheque today, we are celebrating the hands that organized, served, baked, sold, planned and showed up! It takes teamwork, commitment and heart."
